Donnell Nocella: Why do we play, say, monoploly. Whatever they played must've been know throughout the civilized world since that is essentially Egypt.:)
Jonie Lauria: Senet - was played by the Egyptians. It's supposedly similar to backgammon. They've found a lot of them in tombs. It probably had some sort of religious reason behind it's play.

Darrin Hixenbaugh: Same reason why we play board games, it's fun, keeps us busy, and keeps the kids occupied. If it's a popular game it'd be well known too, i guess.
