Torrie Weissenbach: Hi, I know exactly what you are going through. I'm a 25 year old female who ilost her job, 5 year relationship broke off a month ago, and I now have to live with my parents with no income prospects or money or friends due to new area. I have found Disc Golf to get me out of the house and get a little exercise, plus you can play with meet up groups. Also joining pilates and yoga at a cheap gym. Exercise will fight the depression.Good craft hobbies that I like are Cross Stitch which is really easy and rewarding once its complete and pretty cheap supplies. Also, I scan craigslist for free furniture and I actually pick them up, sand them down/re-stain or paint and sell them for a small profit. Its something to do and its fun and it brings in a little money too. Hope this helps. Your not alone!...Show more
Salvatore Walls: You could get a game system, doesn't have to be expensive (nintendo 64) if not in to games reading is also a great pastime! and if you use the library its free. Or you could try hanging out with friends some more.
Craig Virani: have you tryed crafts? www.craftlovers.webs.com is a great craft website.and about the job,i have a friend that makes stuff and sells it in ebay.there are some crafts on the website that would be worth some money(such as a rug or sweater)and you could sell them on ebay as your job
Bettye Arre: Well, I'm 13. When schools out I'm reallly bored, so I started using the knitting loom that my grandma gave me a while ago. It's really fun and really easy- I've made a few hats, and am going to start a scarf and some leg warmers. Get the Knifty Knitters round loom kit. Just don't use the instructions that come with it, they make no sense!! Find some online. I just realllly advise getting it because once your good at it you can make a hat in an hour!
Kristina Brockwell: I like to scrap book and i like to find stuff around my house to fix up. I also like to rearra! nge my house. I like to rearrange my house because it makes m! e feel like I am starting over. what do you like to do?

Clementina Collelo: Been where you are - only became permanently disabled at age 42. My life stopped in it's tracks 16 years ago. I have found that (when I am physically able) working as a volunteer is very rewarding, and with our current economy, many non-profits need extra hands. Call around, google search your area, check with hospitals and rehab centers, museums. Make sure it's a good fit or you will hate it just as badly as you would a! job. When I am stuck at home, I read, sew, hand embroider, make jewelry and paper crafts. There is a wide variety of magazines and e-zines that can help you see the various ways to do the projects, and I suspect that you will find something that fits your budget and interests in one of these. Etsy.com and 1000markets.com are excellent places to explore finished crafts, and also find supplies and kits. You may discover some forgotten talent and passion, and find a lifelong rewarding hobby. Have fun with it....Show more
