Studying Abroad Question?

Wilburn Denice: As far as in high school, most of the ones I knew about would tell you to find sponsors but I hated that. Most programs would give you basic deadlines and it would be up to you to make your payment plan around those deadlines. If need be, plan far in advance so you have more time to pay. All else fails, wait for college and it gets a lot easier to finance your study abroad trips because they want you to go. There are tons of scholarships for undergrads to study abroad and even more money if you are going to countries outside of Europe, Australia and common places like that. If you are a racial minority, the Gilman scholarship is great (as long as your major is covered). Otherwise, your school will have some scholarships as well as some programs through the school and some of the school's affiliates will allow your tuition to go towards the payment of the trip.
