Robbie Starchman: When the people get there it was in wonderful condition.The people were peeing and crapping on the floor. Women were raped and clean up crews were attacked.The only unsanitary conditions were the dirty nasty people.
Tracy Huesso: No sanitary conditions, no beds, no food, no water, over-crowding, no air conditioning, no social services for elderly and babies. Anything horrible you can think of occured. Then the roof was destroyed and they had to be evacuated with nowhere to go.
Ollie Desalvo: You had 1000s of people inside a facility with no power, no sewage or water services. The toilets quickly broke down and overflowed and the water coming into the facility was contaminated with sewage due to the water plants being flooded.Add to that no food or other services, and it was a downright terrible situation, made only worse by FEMA's inability to actually do anything....Show more
