Penelope Armond: memphis hands down. even memphis bottom tier line stuff is good. pricey though. but worth it. you get the best memphis amp performance starting 300 dollars and up.
Lorelei Lilburn: cool so you've nailed it down to 2 brands i personally think kicker is the better brand and i know its most defiantly the loudest id say buy kicker once you've owned kicker gear you'll never buy anything els peace XP
Kelly Bistodeau: Dude, Deffenitely go with kicker.Kicker subs last long and they have great sound quality.Memphis is ok but you would be way better off by going with kicker!!But then again it all depends on what you want in a sub.But for $600 i would probably get 2 12" cvx'syou might have enough for 2 15's...Show more
Debora Soliani: Kickers sound is no match against memphis. Memphis is a great brand that i would always recommend. They are nicer subs and have better sound all around.
Jen Maday: thats a hard one. They are both really good. Wi! th those two I think it comes down to personal preferences. They are both really loud but I think that the lower end Memphis subs might be a little better than the lower end Kickers. ( also, the square kickers look better ) If you want the best speaker then you can look up the volume displacement of the subs you are looking at and go from there ( volume displacement is to speakers what horsepower is to engines).
