Motorcycle Endorsement in Colorado?

Logan Bero: you should start by taking a riding class(apex or rocky can give you more info on them if you live in the springs or just any bike store will have it) from there you just go in to the dvm and do the same as you did with the license and you have to hold a permit for a year

Kenneth Queener: Additionally, I had heard that you can hold a Motorcycle permit while having a driver permit and not a full license. Is this true?

Arlen Decorte: I live in Colorado and hold a motorcycle endorsement. Before you can get your motorcycle endorsement, you have to have your drivers license first. After you get drivers license you get your motorcycle permit (after passing the motorcycle written exam). The motorcycle permits states that you can drive the motorcycle by yourself but you have to have someone over the age of 21 that holds a motorcycle endorsement ride with you (next to you) on their own bike. After holding your motorcycle permit for a few months or a year(d! epending on age) you are then able to take the motorcycle driving test. Once passed the driving test, you then get your motorcycle endorsement. Check out this guy for taking driving test. He is awesome and very easy. A lot easier then dmv. It says cdl testing but he also does motorcycle testing. He is an independent tester. It will cost the same as dmv. Use Dale Bunting - http://www.cdltest.net/roy_associates.html ...the link will give his number. I suggest contacting him via telephone....Show more
