Antonia Quinnett: Are you sure you are not misreading the amount? Sounds like a dot is missing. 30 Amps is really asking for more than I would ever want to to have floating around on the bus for just one card.

Indira Wassell: There are two 6pin connectors on a GTX. You would plug in 2 6 pin connectors from PSU each hooked up to a different rail as you seldom see a PSU with over 24amps per rail. Thats why they have multiple rails. The amperage requirement for a video card would be the total of all the +12V rails so yes, 2 15 amp rails would qualify.
